This traditional style cottage is, in fact, a new build.
The owner wanted a new build cottage which instilled a capture of times gone by in it.
It includes a settled bed beside the stove in the living area as well as ‘The Single End’. This was where the bachelor of the house used to live in a bedsit style add on to the Main Cottage.
Today this home is a popular holiday home on the banks of Stragill beach overlooking Lough Swilly.
